Metropolitan Nephrology Associates is a D.C. area group practice that specializes in kidneys and kidney related things (the easy way to describe nephrology). MNA was looking for a logo that could connect to the D.C. area, as well as still be "kidney-ish." I came up with the idea of using metro lines going into the kidney shape, making it modern while still keeping the anatomical look they wanted.
