Jesus@home was Bay Area Community Church's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like every church during the pandemic, Bay Area was looking to for a way to create community online. Bay Area launched an online campaign of events, zoom meet-ups, cooking classes, kid's videos, and so on. We wanted to make a logo that was bright and energetic, different from the branding of the church, while still living inside the ecosystem of the church. I played around with an app icon in the logo, and really liked the round circle notification element used in apps. I tilted the app shape to match the italics of the text, and added the Bay Area logo into the "app notification." The branding appeared on everything Bay Area put out online during quarantine, and served as an alternate branding to the regular Bay Area cross.
